As 2009 draws to a close the Club would like to reflect on the contributions of Floyd Crow.
An active member since 1977, Floyd was President of the Club 8 times, Vice-President and Rally Chairman numerous times, planned and led too many rides to count and generally kept the Club active and running for decades. Floyd participated in writing the Club's Rally Guidelines and helped countless riders with technical problems and rescued many riders and their bikes. As Rally Chairman for many years, he planned and delivered great rallies at various locations. Floyd was one of the originators of the Texas BMW Protest Rally, aka our Texas National Rally, and Ride the 3s weekend. Floyd planned and led many club functions over the decades, all this while living 100 miles from Houston.
Floyd's memorial service was a mixture of laughter, tears and fond memories. Gregg Crow had the beautiful box with Floyd's ashes and departed the service to take Floyd on his last motorcycle ride.
Thank you to Carl Chapman & Dorothy Goodall for providing the above.
